15 Weeks

This week I have continued with my acidic cravings - lemon or pineapple water, lemonade, lemon cake, key lime pie, cherry tomatoes, pickles and something Rachel will be happy to hear: extra mustard, hold the mayo! I learned this week that Baby E is most definitely NOT a fan of Mexican treats so I'll have to find other foods to sneak in my craving of sour cream.
According to my pregnancy apps here's some fun updates on Baby E this week: he/she is about the size of a softball, apple or navel orange...4 inches long and weighs almost 2.5 ounces. Ossification (bones hardening) begins this week. The brain is structurally developed and will keep growing from now til delivery. Hair is starting to grow on his/her head and the follicles will make pigment if Baby E has dark hair. Although Baby E isn't big enough for me to feel, he/she is moving in there by making fists and moving arms!

Here's a few fun gifts already filling up Baby E's closet:
The first things I bought as part of the big reveal to Dennis including the "We are Prego" jar for my Spaghetti sauce fanatic!
I bought Baby E his/her first hat!

Stacey and John (our sweet friends we met on our honeymoon who we recently visited with in their hometown of Dallas) got Baby E this sock monkey snuggle buddy
Meg and Jason scored some points with Sasha with these
And here's a lot of gender neutral items from all of Baby E's grandparents and friends who are passing time with neutrals until the gender reveal.
Like father like son/daughter - either way will be cute!
