6 Month Updates
Growth: At his 6 mth check up a couple weeks ago, he weighed 17 lbs 15 oz and 28 3/4" long. He's been in size 3 diapers and 6-9 month or 9 month sized clothes.
Sleep: Our little man has been sleeping upstairs in his crib. Usually he lets us know he's ready for bed anytime between 6:30-8 (sometimes we try to keep him up a little later). He typically sleeps until 7 the next morning with an occasional night feeding. This is a bittersweet milestone for us. We are so proud of him for adjusting to his big boy room so easily.
Diet: Lincoln is still primarily nursing but he tried his very first food a few weeks ago. We decided on Avocado mashed and mixed with a little milk. He quickly got the hang of eating from a spoon. His faces are priceless, you would think we were giving him jalapeno juice!
Milestones: Rolling over, trying baby food, sleeping through the night all by himself! His babbles change, we've been trying to record some of them
Favorite Things: Jumparoo, spinning wheel, activity mat and chewing on Sophie giraffe.
We took Lincoln to Keri a couple weeks ago to capture his 6 month cuteness. As always, we LOVE the results! Check out her blog here with his session. She even has a picture of him with his Sophie :)
Lincoln - Your nickname "ham" is official. Your daddy always says how "ham-some" you are. Your giggles and squeals make us laugh every time. Sasha has become your best bud, often sleeping under your crib. We hope the 2nd half of your 1st year will slow down but we know that is only wishful thinking. We are so proud of you. We love when your smile makes someone else smile. The happiness you have is contagious. Happy half-birthday sweet baby boy!
